These terms govern your use of services provided by Seliecone Pty Ltd ("Seliecone", "we", "us"). By engaging us, whether by accepting a written quote, agreeing verbally, or paying a deposit, you accept these terms.
All quotes are based on the information you provide (photos, descriptions, site visits) and remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Quotes are inclusive of GST unless explicitly marked as ex GST.
If the scope of work changes, additional joints, hidden damage discovered on site, substrate problems requiring repair before sealing, we will discuss the variation with you and provide a revised price before continuing. We do not proceed with un-quoted variations without authorisation.
Work is scheduled by mutual agreement. For trade and commercial work, we work to your site program where reasonable notice is given. For residential work, we provide an arrival window on the day of the job.
If you need to reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations for residential bookings may incur a callout fee to cover lost time.
You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area at the agreed time. This includes:
If we arrive on site and cannot safely or reasonably perform the work, for example, the area is not accessible, the surface is wet or contaminated, or another trade has not finished prior work, we reserve the right to charge for the lost trip and reschedule.
We use professional-grade products from trusted brands such as Soudal, Pasco, Ardex and Maxisil, selected to suit the application, substrate and site requirements. The exact product and colour will be confirmed in the quote where it matters. If you have a strong preference for a specific brand or colour, please confirm at quote stage so we can source it.
Specialty colour-matched or imported products may be quoted separately, with longer lead times.
For residential jobs, payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed. We accept bank transfer and cash. An invoice with payment details is sent on the day of completion.
For trade, strata and commercial work, payment terms are 14 days from invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. Overdue accounts may attract interest at 10% per annum and recovery costs.
For larger jobs we may request a deposit to confirm booking.
We warrant our workmanship on residential silicone caulking for 12 months from the date of completion. If a workmanship issue arises in that period, the bead lifts, shrinks, or grows mould inside or behind it under normal use, we will return and rectify it at no charge.

Manufacturer warranties on materials apply separately and are usually longer. We will assist with any manufacturer claim if needed.
Caulking sits in a complex environment of movement, moisture, temperature and chemistry. While we use premium materials and proven techniques, no caulking work can be guaranteed indefinitely. Useful life under normal conditions is 5 to 7 years for wet-area silicone and 10 to 20 years for external polyurethane.
We may take photographs of the work area before, during and after the job for our own records, training and dispute resolution. We will not publish photographs that identify your property publicly without your consent. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Our liability for any breach of these terms, our workmanship warranty or any duty owed at law is limited (to the extent permitted by law) to the cost of re-performing the work, or refunding the amount paid for the work in question.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, where that law applies. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies and our work fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to the remedies provided under that law.
We carry $20 million in public liability insurance covering damage to property or persons arising from our work.
You may cancel a booking with at least 24 hours' notice without charge. After the work has commenced, we charge for the labour and materials already used to the point of cancellation. Materials cut, mixed or applied are not refundable.
We are not liable for delays or failures arising from circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, illness, supplier issues, road closures, government restrictions or natural disasters.
If you have any concern with our work, please raise it with us in the first instance, usually we can sort it on the spot. If we can't resolve it directly, we are open to mediation through Fair Trading NSW or an agreed third party before any formal proceedings.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to any job is the version current at the time the job was quoted.
